Chaga Mushroom Party - Venice
We are throwing a chaga mushroom party with our friends Moon Juice, Canyon Coffee & Solar Return and you’re invited!
This Sunday, December 16th from 11a-3p at Venice Beach (566 Rose Ave). There will be healthy chaga drinks and treats for all!
Moon Juice: Moon Juice is the resource for plant-sourced alchemy to nourish and elevate body, beauty and consciousness. [They] celebrate the unadulterated, exquisite flavors and healing force of raw vegetables, fruits, petals, herbs, roots, nuts and seaweeds as daily nourishment, beauty tools and high-powered natural remedies.
Canyon Coffee: What we love most about coffee is the joy it brings to our mornings—making it for each other, family and friends. We like to drink it black to get the full flavor of the bean, and because it’s healthy! When it comes to Canyon Coffee, then, our goal is to find coffee beans that can be brewed black, at home, and taste delicious to a wide range of palettes. Good coffee takes love, and that starts on the farm with the people growing and tending to the beans.
Solar Return: 1. Food is sacred. What we put into our bodies is not just fuel, but a connection with the Earth that provides sustenance and the people who grow, prepare, and serve it. 2. Ingredients must be of the highest quality possible. Plants that are grown with respect for nature, (which restore the soil rather than depleting it) are the only ones that we can expect to function medicinally and restore balance to our hard working cells. 3. Intention is the most important element. The care that gets put into food during preparation is received and amplified as it is consumed. Food that is made with love and meditative attention can transform simply eating into a celebration of life.
